There is an opportunity gap amongst inner city children, as the world has not been built on an equal playing field. We are aiming to bring equity to our communities by providing contextually appropriate opportunities and resources to help them achieve their full potential. We must strive to narrow the gap.
Our mission is to work with disadvantaged children and families, providing them with access to resources, and empowering them to use such resources, to create transformative opportunities that can lead to long-term, sustainable success. We seek to educate our communities and focus our program on developing the following fundamental soft skills: 1) Preparation, 2) communication, 3) problem-solving, and 4) leadership. We believe these skills are critical to creating the confidence, self-reliability, and drive to achieve that long-term, sustainable success.
